I'm based in Denmark and work within the renewable energy sector, with a background of three years across wind and solar projects before founding SROPO WNS.

That time was spent close to the ground — helping set up wind farms and carrying out the preliminary work that determines whether a project is worth taking further. SROPO WNS grew directly out of that experience: a focused advisory for private developers who need clear, credible preliminary studies before they approach investors or move into full EPC procurement.

Services

Preliminary studies that hold up under investor scrutiny

Five focused services covering the technical and financial groundwork of a project.

01 Wind resource & siting

DNV WindAnalyser assessments for wind turbines, covering optimal turbine placement and CAPEX calculation.

02 3D site rendering

Full 3D rendering for investor presentations, with complete site overviews covering turbine placement, roads, crane hardstands, foundations, laydown areas and more.

03 Preliminary CAPEX

Preliminary civil works CAPEX calculations, prepared for investor conversations ahead of full EPC procurement.

04 Solar layout design

Preliminary solar farm layout design, giving a clear overview for discussion and visuals for investors and local stakeholders.

05 BESS & controls setup

DEIF 3.0 USW setup across BESS units, wind turbines and solar assets.

Portfolio

Current projects

An active portfolio spanning wind, solar and BESS work at different stages.

Crane installing a wind turbine on Project 1 Component delivery en route to Project 1
P1 In construction

Distributed BESS & wind, South Africa

A smaller-scale setup with three BESS systems wired for peak shaving and emergency power. Two turbines are currently being installed, with two to three more planned.

Rendered layout of the Project 2 wind farm on a South African hillside
P2 Well underway

Hillside wind farm, South Africa

A larger wind farm set on a hillside site, currently scoped at 14 Vestas turbines. The project is well underway.

Rendered layout of the Project 3 wind farm
P3 Well underway

Neighbouring wind park, South Africa

A smaller park situated close to the P2 farm and near a substation. Nine smaller turbines give a combined output of 21 MW.

P4 Preliminary stage

Three-ridge wind layout, South Africa

The newest wind farm project, currently in the preliminary stage with the layout still under development. The site spans three lines of turbines across three separate hilltops.

P5 In development

65 MW solar farm, Eswatini

A solar farm with a 65 MW output, located close to its connection point. 36 BESS units are situated on site, close to the substation.
